<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />GCH:ar <br />6/11/76 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-16 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING <br />THE AGENCY TO ACCEPT AND THE CHAIRMAN OF THE AGENCY <br />TO EXECUTE THE ACCEPTANCE ON BEHALF OF THE AGENCY <br />OF A GRANT OFFER FOR A TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANT <br />FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION OFFICE OF TECHNICAL <br />ASSISTANCE, TO CONDUCT AN ANALYSIS OF THE FEASIBILITY <br />OF A PERFORMING ARTS CENTER IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />CALIFORNIA. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Santa Ana has authorized the Agency staff to submit an application for a <br />grant to the U. S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administra- <br />tion Office of Technical Assistance (hereinafter referred to as EDA) to <br />conduct an analysis of the feasibility of a Performing Arts Center in the <br />City of Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agency staff has submitted an application to <br />EDA for said grant pursuant to said authorization; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the EDA has approved said application and transmitted <br />Grant Offer for Technical Assistance No. 07-6-01737 to the Community Rede- <br />velopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana, California effective June 1, <br />1976; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Santa Ana wishes to accept said Grant Offer and to authorize the Chairman <br />of the Community Redevelopment Agency to execute the acceptance of said <br />EDA Grant Offer on behalf of the agency. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelop- <br />ment Agency of the City of Santa Ana that the Agency accepts the EDA Grant <br />Offer for Technical Assistance No. 07-6-01737 to conduct an analysis of <br />the feasibility of a Performing Arts Center in the City of 'Santa Ana and <br />hereby authorizes the Chairman of the Agency to execute the acceptance of <br />said EDA Grant Offer on behalf of the Agency. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Community Redevelopment Agency <br />of the City of Santa Ana at its Regular meeting held on the ~ <br />day of .I1ml'. , 1976. <br /> <br /> <br />~~ <br />J , alrman <br /> <br />APPROVED,AS TO LEGAL FORM: <br />;/:<_1 .ß~ <br />...'~~.V~ <br />KEITH L.
