That this Redevelopment Agency hereby supports the
southern extension of Route 57 to the Corona Del Mar Freeway via
the Santa Ana River Corridor and recommends that the Department of
Transportation of the State of California provide for the comple-
tion of said extension at the earliest possible date.

2. That this Redevelopment Agency urges the County of Orange,
the Orange County Transit District, and the cities of Costa Mesa,
Garden Grove, Fountain Valley and Anaheim join with the City of Santa
Ana in support of said extension.

3. That the Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency
shall cause copies of this resolution to be forwarded to the Governor
of California, the State Transportation Board, the State Highway
Commission, the State Department of Transportation and to all State
Senators and Assemblymen representing Orange County.

~
