<br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-26 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE <br />SANTA ANA PARK-AND-RIDE STRUCTURE PROJECT <br />AND CERTIFYING THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL <br />IMPACT REPORT FOR THE SAID PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Santa Ana and the Orange County Transit District have proposed to <br />jointly carry out a certain project, to wit: the acquisition and <br />clearance of the site for, and the construction, maintenance, and <br />operation of, a 700-space parking structure, designated as the <br />Santa Ana Park-and-Ride Structure, to be located on the southerly <br />portion of that certain block in the City of Santa Ana bounded by <br />Santa Ana Boulevard on the north, Broadway on the east, and Fifth <br />Street on the south, and extending over a portion of Birch Street <br />on the west; <br /> <br />tiHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa <br />Ana has been designated as the lead agency for purposes of en- <br />vironmental review of the said project by agreement between the <br />said Redevelopment Agency and the Orange County Transit District; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the said Redevelopment Agency did submit for a <br />public review and comment a draft environmental impact report for <br />the said project and did, on October 25,1977, hold a public <br />hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment on the said <br />draft environmental impact report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a final environmental impact report has been <br />prepared on the basis of the public review and comment upon the <br />said draft environmental impact report and submitted to the <br />governing body of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa <br />Ana for its review and consideration; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the governing body <br />of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana does hereby <br />certify that the said final environmental impact report has been <br />completed in accordance with the requir,~~nts of CEQA and the <br />State EIR Guidelines and that, prior to taking any action to <br />approve or disapprove the project, it has reviewed and considered <br />the information contained in the said final environmental impact <br />report and that it approves the said final environmental impact <br />report, including the responses to public comments set forth <br />therein. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Redevelopment Agency of <br />the City of Santa Ana does hereby approve and determine to carry <br />out the said project in the manner agreed upon between the said <br />Redevelopment Agency and the Orange County Transit District, sub- <br />ject to such measures designed to avoid or mitigate the signifi- <br />cant environmental effects thereof as hereinafter set forth. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the executive director of <br />the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana is hereby <br />directed to file a Notice of Determination for the said project <br /> <br />~B <br />
