<br />. <br /> <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />GCH:1m <br />7/19/77 <br /> <br />VLZ <br /> <br />V <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-14 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING <br />AND DIRECTING THE CONDEMNATION OF CERTAIN <br />REAL PROPERTIES FOR REDEVELOPMENT PURPOSES <br />IN THE FOURTEEN ACRE SITE IN THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AND DECLARING <br />THE PUBLIC NECESSITY THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to provide a redevelopment site, <br />pursuant to a Contract for Sale of Land for Private Redevelop- <br />ment between the Conununity Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Santa Ana and the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana <br />and Santa Ana Intown Apartments it has become necessary to ac- <br />quire certain real properties located between First and Third <br />and Ross and Flower Streets in the Redevelopment Project area. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all persons whose names and addresses appear <br />on the last equalized assessment roll for the properties de- <br />scribed herein, and all persons whose names appear as record <br />owners on the litigation guarantee reports for said properties, <br />and all tenants were given notice and an opportunity to be <br />heard pursuant to the Code of Civil Procedure §1245.235; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Conununity <br />Redevelopment Agency on those matters set forth in its Notices <br />of Intention to Adopt a Resolution of Necessity and referred to <br />in §1240.030, Code of Civil Procedure, which included the follow- <br />ing matters: <br /> <br />(a) Whether the public interest and necessity <br />require the proposed project; <br /> <br />(b) Whether the project is planned and located <br />in the manner that will be most compatible with the greatest <br />public good and the least private injury; and <br /> <br />(c) Whether the property described herein is necessary <br />for the proposed project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Communi ty Re- <br />development Agency of the City of Santa Ana that it finds and <br />determines as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Agency is specifically authorized by virtue of <br />Health & Safety Code §33391 and §33342 to take property by con- <br />demnation for Redevelopment purposes, namely redevelopment of <br />fourteen acres of real property situated within the area de- <br />scribed in the first recital hereinabove. <br /> <br />2. The properties described herein are located within <br />the Community Redevelopment Project area of the City of Santa Ana <br />as depicted by the map attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incor- <br />porated herein by reference, and are necessary for the proposed <br />project. Said properties are more particularly described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />A.P. 008-154-06 <br /> <br />Lot 1 in Block 8 of "Dawson and Cummings' <br />Addition to the Town of Santa Ana", as shown <br />on a Map recorded in Book 13, page 47 of <br />Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, <br />California. <br /> <br />2 <br />
