<br />REL:adg <br />4/14/82 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-24 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SANTA ANA COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION SUBMITTING THE <br />PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND THE <br />DRAFT EIR RELATING THERETO TO THE CITY <br />COUNCIL, AND CONSENTING TO CALL A JOINT <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED REDEVELOP- <br />MENT PLAN FOR THE SANTA ANA NORTH HARBOR <br />BOULEVARD REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND THE <br />DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT RELAT- <br />ING THERETO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Commission of <br />the City of Santa Ana has prepared a proposed Redevelopment <br />Plan for the Santa Ana North Harbor Boulevard Redevelopment <br />Project; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commission will submit the proposed <br />Redevelopment Plan to the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Santa Ana for its report and recommendation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act, the State EIR Guidelines and the local <br />procedures adopted pursuant thereto, the Commission has <br />prepared and is circulating a Draft Environmental Impact <br />Report for the Project, and is required to conduct a public <br />hearing on the Draft EIR, and on the basis of comments <br />received, will prepare a Final EIR for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community <br />Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et <br />~) authorizes a joint public hearing on the proposed-- <br />Redevelopment Plan with the consent of the Commission and <br />the City Council of the City of Santa Ana; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SANTA ANA <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. The Commission hereby submits the proposed <br />Redevelopment Plan for the Santa Ana North Harbor Boulevard <br />Redevelopment Project, and the Draft EIR relating thereto, <br />to the City Council. <br /> <br />2. The Commission hereby consents to a joint public <br />hearing on the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Project, <br />and requests the City Council to call a joint public hearing <br />of the Commission and the City Council on Tuesday, June 15, <br />1982 at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers to consider <br /> <br />I'} <br /> <br />8B <br />
