AGREEMENT FOR SA/ORANGE MOTION made by Acosta, seconded <br />TRANSPORTATION STUDY by Markel, to deny the staff's <br />CONTINUED TO 7/6/81 recommendation that the agreement <br /> be approved between City and JEF <br />Engineering for professional engineering services in connection with Santa <br />Aha/Orange Transportation Systems Improvements Study, was superseded by a <br />MOTION to continue the matter to July 6. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, McGuigan <br />Acosta, Markel, Serrato <br />None <br /> <br />BUDGET DISCUSSION The Council reviewed proposed <br /> budgets of the Public Works <br /> and Transportation Departments, <br /> querying the City Manager as to <br />specifics in many instances, and began discussion of the proposed Develop- <br />mental Services Department budget. The City Manager informed the Council <br />that the Fire, Police, and Recreation and Parks Departments were scheduled <br />for review at the next budget session, to be followed by the smaller de- <br />partments at subsequent sessions. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT At 6:12 p.m., the meeting was <br /> adjourned by unanimous informal <br /> consent to Tuesday, June 30, <br /> 1981, at 4:00 p.m. at the <br />Saddleback Inn, Orange Room, 1600 E.
