Stevens <br /> Ave., requested Council action <br /> and further research regarding <br /> the notices sent about Appeal <br /> No. 448 and Waiver 81-8 relative <br />The City Attorney explained that a <br /> <br />lawsuit had been filed by the tenants of the Sunflower Creek Apartments and <br />the issue would be discussed during executive session. At 4:51 p.m. Council recessed <br />SESSION & DINNER to Executive Session. Council <br />RECONVENED reconvened at 5:44 p.m., and <br /> immediately recessed to dinner <br />with the Orange County Vector Control representative at the King Yen <br />Restaurant, 1502 E. First Street. <br /> <br />The meeting was reconvened in the Council Chambers at 7:36 p.m. with all <br />members present. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag, the Invocation was <br />given by Father Francis Moran, <br />Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT Ms. Pat Seixas, Director of the <br />THE SENIOR CENTER Senior Center, presented a brief <br /> overview of the goals and a des- <br /> cription of the services offered <br />by the Senior Center of Santa Ana. Mayor Bricken thanked Ms. Seixas for <br />her presentation and encouraged Councilmembers to visit the Center. CA 9.3 <br /> <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION Vice Mayor Luxembourger presented <br />HECTOR GODINEZ a City Seal Tile Plaque to Hector <br /> Godinez for his service to the <br /> City as a member of the Community <br />Redevelopment Commission from January, 1973 to June, 1981.
