Following discussion, MOTION was made by Luxembourger, seconded by Markel, <br />to approve the following recommendation contained in the Third Street <br />Channelization Downtown Parking Report on condition that additional park- <br />ing spaces be provided on Third Street east of Main Street, and additional <br />parking between Spur§eon and French be investigated: <br /> <br />Provide interim short-term parking spaces and <br />commercial loading zones on Third Street <br />according to the compromise developed between <br />staff and local business representatives, and <br />redo the channelization between Birch and <br />Spurgeon to accommodate parked vehicles. <br /> <br />Motion ~assed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, <br /> McGuigan, Serrato <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />CA 82.8 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION <br />RICHARD HOTALING RE: <br />DRAINAGE ASSESSMTo FEE <br />REFERRED TO CA <br /> <br />Richard Hotaling, 920 E.
