MOTION was made by Acosta, seconded by Markel, to place the following ordinance on first reading and authorize publication of title: ORDINANCE NO. NS-1611 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO APPROVE AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 865 TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF WRIGHT AND PALM STREETS FROM THE R2 (MULTIPLE- FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICT TO THE P (PROFESSIONAL) DISTRICT AND AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP NO. 8-5-9. Motion passed on the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, McGuigan, Serrato None None CA 10 PUBLIC HEARING - ALLEY ABANDONMENT #53 - E OF LACY, S OF CIVIC CENTER DENIED which runs from approximately 5 feet east between Lacy and Garfield, south of Civic The Mayor opened the public hearing on Alley Abandonment No. 53 filed by Rev. Kenneth J. Krause, St. Joseph's Church, to abandon an east/west alley of Lacy to a north/south alley Center Drive. The Chief of Planning presented the staff report and recommendations.
