<br />Councilmember Luxembourger requested a report to Council on the history of
<br />the Santiago bridge, including the intent of its original use; the effects
<br />of automated signalization on this area; and the effectiveness of the
<br />temporary barricades which had been authorized at an earlier date.

<br />Following discussion, MOTION was made by Luxembourger, seconded by Acosta,
<br />that a public hearing be set for January 18, 1982, on the Santa Ana/Orange
<br />Transportation Study.

<br />CA RE: CELEBRITY PARK that a good faith deposit of
<br />CONTRACT - CA AUTHORIZED $50,000 was overdue for Celebrity
<br /> Park, and that he had contacted
<br />the developer several times asking for payment.
<br />
<br />MOTION was made by Griset, seconded by Serrato, to authorize the City
<br />Attorney to terminate the contract with Celebrity Park Incorporation for
<br />development of Celebrity Park, if the $50,000 deposit was not received
<br />by Friday, November 20, 1981, at 12:00 noon.
