<br />I, ~ <br /> <br />REL:adg <br />10/20/81 <br /> <br />I \ <br /> <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-130 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AUTHORIZING CONSULTATIONS WITH PROJECT <br />AREA RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY ORGANI- <br />ZATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH PREPARATION <br />OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE SANTA ANA <br />SOUTH MAIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 81-184, adopted on <br />November 2,1981, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />found and determined that the Santa Ana South Main Street <br />Redevelopment Project will not displace a substantial number <br />of low- and moderate-income families, that formation of a <br />project area committee is not required prior to the adoption <br />of the Redevelopment Plan for the proposed Project, and that <br />a project area committee shall not be formed in connection <br />with the Project; and <br /> <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment <br />Law (Health and Safety Code, Section 33000 et seq.) <br />requires, in the event the Project will not displace a <br />substantial number of low- and moderate-income families, the <br />Redevelopment Commission to consult with and obtain the <br />advice of residents and community organizations either <br />through the formation of a project area committee or through <br />direct consultation with and obtaining advice from such <br />residents and community organizations, and further requires <br />that the proposed Redevelopment Plan be provided to such <br />residents and community organizations prior to submitting it <br />to the City Council. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the <br />Redevelopment Commission of the City of Santa Ana as <br />follows: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Executive Director of the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana is hereby <br />authorized and directed to consult with and obtain the <br />advice of residents and community organizations within the <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />,.2. <br /> <br />5B <br />
