ABC LICENSE APP. Stephen M. Cohen, 23301 Via Pardac, <br />BOYDSTON - 2525 W. 17TH Coto de Caza, addressed Council, <br />CONT'D TO 1/18/82 stating that he was involved in <br /> this particular Alcoholic Beverage <br />License application, related that he had a background of criminal offenses, <br />but added he had been declared "rehabilitated" by the Courts. He requested <br />that Council remove the protest from its recommended action since he was <br />considered at this time to be rehabilitated. <br /> <br />Following discussion, MOTION was made by Markel, seconded by Griset, to <br />continue the following to January 18, 1982: <br /> <br />BOYDSTON, Susan A., 2525 W. 17th, G&F - Self-Incorporation <br />of an existing Type 21 License Off-sale General. <br />PROTESTS: Police - Yes <br /> Planning - N/A <br />(Agenda Item 5A) <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel <br /> McGuigan, Serrato <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />CA 146.1 <br /> <br />Council recessed at 2:57 p.m., and reconvened at 3:03 p.m., with all members <br />present except Councilmember Griset who arrived at 3:20 p.m. <br /> <br />MOMENT OF SILENCE Councilmember Markel requested <br /> that the Council and members of <br /> the audience take a few moments <br /> to remember Clarence Hoiles, a <br />citizen of Santa Ana who contributed greatly to the community. Mayor <br />Bricken announced that the Flag would be flown at half-mast on Tuesday, <br />January 5, 1982, in memory of Mr. Hoiles. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - MUNICIPAL REVENUE <br />CONSULTANTS - RECOVERY OF <br />UNREALIZED SALES TAX <br />APPROVED; MAYOR AUTHORIZED <br /> <br />the Mayor and Clerk: <br /> <br />Following discussion, MOTION <br />was made by Serrato, seconded <br />by Luxembourger, to approve the <br />following agreement, and to <br />authorize its execution by <br /> <br />RECOVERY OF UNREALIZED SALES TAX - Between the City <br />and Municipal Revenue Consultants to proceed with <br />their services to identify and recover unrealized <br />sales tax.
