MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />February 24, 1982 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gordon Bricken at 5:40 p.m. <br />in Room 831, City Hall, 20 Civic Center Plaza. Councilmembers present <br />were John Acosta, Daniel E. Griset, R. W. Luxembourger, J. Ogden Markel, <br />Patricia A. McGuigan, Alfred C. Serrato and Mayor Gordon 8ricken. Also <br />present were City Manager A. J. Wilson, City Attorney Edward J. Cooper, <br />Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy, several Transportation staff members <br />and representatives of the Archiplan firm. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT WITH Following response by the <br />ARCHIPLAN - SANTA ANA Transportation Director to <br />INTERCITY COMMUTER STATION specific questions regarding <br />APPROVED selection of a professional <br />......... architectural/engineering <br />firm for design of the Santa Aha Intercity Commuter Station and Council <br />discussion, the Council voted to select the firm who would prepare said <br />design from among the four designated by Council on February 16, 1982, <br />for further consideration. <br /> <br />The vote was as follows: <br /> <br />1. Archiplan Urban Design Collaborative - Bricken, Griset, <br /> Luxembourger, Markel, McGuigan <br /> <br />2. The Blurock Partnership - Acosta, Serrato <br /> <br />3. Grillas-Pirc-Rosier-Alves/S&T Wester, Inc. - None <br /> <br />4. Thirtieth Street Architects - None <br /> <br />By unanimous informal consent, the Council approved award of the contract <br />agreement for professional architectural/engineering services with the <br />firm of Archiplan Urban Design Collaborative for the design of the Santa Ana <br />Intercity Commuter Station in an amount not to exceed $277,105.00 A 82-18 <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at <br />6:45 p.m. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />70 <br /> <br />FEBRUARY 24, 1982 <br /> <br /> <br />
