<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Santa Ana, as
<br />follolVs:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 342[10 of the Housing Authorities
<br />Law the City Council hereby declares .itself to be the Commissioners of
<br />the Housing Authority created by Section 34240 of the Housing Authorities
<br />Law, and that all rights, powers, duties, privileges and immunities
<br />vested by the Housing Authorities Law in such Authority shall be and
<br />are vested in said Commissioners except as otherwise provided ~n
<br />Sections 34290 through 34293 of the Housing Authorities Law.
<br />
<br />SECTION 2. The City Council hereby declares that the Commissioners
<br />of the Authority and'the Housing Authority will limit their activities
<br />under the Housing _.\uthorities Law of the State of California, to the
<br />leasing of pri vate accommodations pursuant to Section 23 of the Housing
<br />Act of 1937, as amended, with emphasis on large families; and, that
<br />no other project or program of low-rent housing \vill be undertaken
<br />without specific approval of the City Council.

<br />SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately.
