MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />June 7, 1982 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 3:03 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, <br />22 Civic Center Plaza, by Mayor Gordon Bricken. Councilmembers present <br />were John Acosta, Daniel E. Griset, R. W. Luxembourger, J. Ogden Markel, <br />Patricia A. McGuigan, and Mayor Gordon Bricken. Also present were City <br />Manager A. J. Wilson, City Attorney Edward J. Cooper, and Clerk of the <br />Council Janice C. Guy. Councilmember Alfred C. Serrato joined the meet- <br />ing at 4:06 p.m. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />INVOCATION <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag, the <br />Invocation was given by <br />Councilmember McGuigan. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />May 1-7, 1982, as "Respect for Law Week." <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Luxembourger <br />presented a proclamation to <br />Michael Hamann, Santa Ana <br />Police Department, proclaiming <br /> <br />Coun¢ilmember McGuigan presented a proclamation to Claudia Collier, <br />Zoo Curator/Superintendent, proclaiming the month of June, 1982, as <br />"Zoo and Aquarium Month." <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan presented a proclamation to Allen Doby, Santa <br />Ana Director of Recreation & Parks, proclaiming the month of June, <br />1982, as "National Recreation Month." CA 46 <br /> <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION Certificates of recognition <br />SAHS BASEBALL TEAM were presented by Councilmember <br /> Griset, to Principal Harlan <br /> Anderson, Coach Bill Ross, and <br />members of the Santa Ana High School Baseball Team, in recognition of <br />their winning the CIF Southern Section 3A Division Championship. CA 9.4 <br /> <br />CHANGE ORDER While waiting for Councilmembers <br />PROJ 6169, WINDSOR PARK to complete their removals of <br />NO ACTION items from the Consent Calendar, <br /> the Mayor requested that staff <br />explain the costs relative to the Change Order No. 2 for Windsor Park. <br />Following discussion, MOTION was made by Luxembourger, to approve the <br />following change order: <br /> <br />PROJECT 6169 - Windsor Park Security and Tennis Court <br />Lighting - Recreation, Parks & Community Services - Change <br />Order No. 2; increasing in amount of $6,710.76.
