<br />process, the Public Works Department has indicated that the City <br />would have the ability to provide adequate water service to the <br />project site. The proposed project would be subject to <br />appropriate water connection fees. No adverse impacts in regards <br />to the provision of adequate water service would be associated <br />with the proposed project. <br /> <br />F. Is the project served by a landfill with sufficient <br />per.mitted capacity to accommodate the project's solid waste <br />disposal needs? <br />G. Comply with federal, state and local statutes and <br />regulations related to solid waste? <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />Great Western Reclamation would provide solid waste disposal <br />service for the proposed project. The proposed project would not <br />significantly increase the demand for solid waste disposal. <br />Additionally, the City has adopted a Source Reduction and <br />Recycling Element, which, establishes programs to reduce the <br />City's overall demand for solid waste disposal. No significant <br />adverse impacts would be associated with providing solid waste <br />disposal service for the proposed project. <br /> <br />XVII. MANDATORY FINDINGS OF SIGNIFICANCE <br /> <br />A. Does the project have the potential to degrade the quality <br />of the environment, substantially reduce the habitat of a <br />fish or wildlife species, cause a fish or wildlife <br />population to drop below self-sustaining levels, threaten <br />to eliminate a plant or animal community, reduce the number <br />or restrict the range of a rare or endangered plant or <br />animal or eliminate important examples of the major periods <br />of California history or prehistory. <br /> <br />No Impact <br /> <br />Implementation of the proposed project would not substantially <br />reduce the habitat of fish or wildlife species, in that no fish <br />or wildlife populations are known to exist on the project site. <br />The operation or construction of the proposed project would not <br />degrade the overall quality of the environment. <br /> <br />B.
