<br />occupancy. There were units that had evidence of people living in them. Jose <br />Solorio asked how the City could control the parties/raves that are happening <br />after hours. The Police Department has been informed of the after-hours activity <br />and will be taking the appropriate actions. <br /> <br />Tim Rush commented on how the owner of the property needs to sell the <br />property to a developer that has the capabilities to rehabilitate this magnificent <br />historical building into an official live/work site for Downtown. The current <br />property owner does as little as possible to maintain the property. The property <br />owner can do a cease and desist for the people living in the building, and have <br />them out of there in 90 days. <br /> <br />3. DOWNTOWN BID UPDATE <br /> <br />All relevant information was presented to Council at the January 18, 2005 <br />meeting in a public setting. No additional update was presented. <br /> <br />4. PROJECT UPDATES <br /> <br />a) SWC First and Main Streets - Oriqinal Mike's - <br /> <br />The Certificate of Occupancy has been issued for the restaurant. The <br />apartment units have some remaining items that need to be addressed prior <br />to a final sign-off. <br /> <br />b) City Place - <br /> <br />Going to City Council on February 7 as a public hearing item with all the <br />actions and environmental documents <br /> <br />c) YMCA- <br /> <br />Previous discussions in City Council Closed Session prompted questions on <br />both proposals that were presented. Staff has met with both developers to <br />discuss the concerns raised by City Council and both developers agreed to <br />re-submit their proposals. The two revised proposals will be sent to Keyser <br />Marston for their review and then brought back to a closed session for City <br />Council. <br /> <br />d) Court of Appeals- <br /> <br />All relevant information was presented to Council at the January 18, 2005 <br />meeting in a public setting.
