JT. PUBLIC HEARING - COUNCIL/CRA The Vice Mayor opened the joint <br />OCTD PROPERTY public hearing of the Community <br />SANTA ANA BLVD. & 5TH ST. Redevelopment Agency and the <br />RES. NO. 82-118 - ADOPTED City Council on the proposed <br /> sale of property by the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency to the Orange County Transit District for property <br />bounded on the north by Santa Ana Boulevard, on the west by Ross Street, <br />on the south by Fifth Street, and on the east by Broadway, excepting the <br />easterly 335 feet. <br /> <br />The Assistant Director of Community Development/Real Estate reviewed the <br />staff report and presented staff's recommendations. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported that no written communications had <br />been received. <br /> <br />There were no speakers on the matter. <br /> <br />Michael Mack, representing Orange County Transit District, and Community <br />Development staff members responded to Councilmembers' questions. <br /> <br />The Vice Mayor closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Following action by the Community Redevelopment Agency, MOTION was made by <br />McGuigan, seconded by Serrato, to adopt the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-118 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA MAKING CERTAIN <br />FINDINGS WITH RESPECT TO THE CONSIDERATION TO BE <br />RECEIVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA PURSUANT TO AN AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSIT <br />DISTRICT FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN <br />THE SANTA ANA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND APPROVING <br />THE SALE OF SAID REAL PROPERTY UPON THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS CONTAINED IN THAT AGREEMENT. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Luxembourger, McGuigan, Serrato <br />None <br />Bricken, Markel <br /> <br />CA 82.1 <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />informal consent at 6:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Following further action by <br />the Redevelopment Agency <br />on this matter, the Council <br />was adjourned by unanimous <br /> <br />/~J~nice C.
