'. <br /> <br />ELA GLOBAL DIMENSIONS, INC. <br /> <br />LANGUAGE INTERPRETATIONfTRANSLATION SERVICES <br />FOR THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />Contractor shall provide professional language interpretation/translation in a timely manner to various City of Santa <br />Ana Departments/Programs, for clients whose primary language is not English or for clients that are non-English <br />proficient and for deaf clients. <br /> <br />Contractor shall provide the following interpretation/translation services: <br />1. Assist clients "in-person" by traveling to various locations as instructed by City of Santa Ana staff <br />2 Assist clients "over the phone" <br />3. Translate medical records. documents and forms for clients and City of Santa Ana staff <br /> <br />Contractor's services shall be on an as-needed basis during the term of the Price Agreement. <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Languages: <br /> <br />Contractor's language interpretation services may be required for, but not limited to: <br />Arabic, Armenian, Bangladesh, Cambodian, Cantonese (Taiwanese), Croatian, Hebrew, Hmong, Italian, <br />Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Mandarin, Farsi, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Samoan, Spanish, Tagalog, <br />Thai, Urdu and Vietnamese. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Locations: <br /> <br />Contractor to provide services as requested at various locations within City of Santa Ana area. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Level of Services: <br /> <br />Contractor shall interpret and translate all communication between City of Santa Ana staff and clients. <br /> <br />D, Minimum Standards: <br /> <br />Contractor and contractor's employee (interpreters/translators) shall meet the following minimum <br />standards: <br />a. Interpreterrrranslator must be able to communicate effectively in both English and the language <br />of which interpretation services are being provided. <br />b. Interpreterrrranslator must be able to follow directions provided by the City of Santa Ana staff <br />c. Interpretersrrranslators must be physically and emotionally capable of performing City of Santa <br />Ana's assigned tasks and services. <br />d. Interpreters/Translators shall wear appropriate professional attire during the performance of <br />language interpretation services in performance of this price agreement, and <br />e. Contractor and Contractor's interpreters/translators shall maintain if applicable appropriate <br />certification during the tem of this Price Agreement. <br /> <br />E. Days/Hours of Availability: <br /> <br />Normal business hours: 7:30 am to 5 pm <br />After normal business hours: before 7:30 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm <br />Monday through Friday <br /> <br />EXHIBIT <br /> <br />A <br />
