EXHIBIT A -1 <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall provide "Kids Love Music" workshops for children to enjoy a variety of <br />musical experiences as follows: <br />Consultant shall instruct classes for children 4 -14 months with their parents, <br />children 1 -4 years with their parents, and another class for children 5 -7 years old. <br />Each class shall meet once a week during 4 to 6 week sessions. <br />The classes will be held at the Lawn Bowling Club House. <br />Classes will be held on Monday's, as follows: <br />• Age 1 -4 years 1:45 — 2:30 pm <br />• Age 4 — 14 months 2:40 - 3:10 pm <br />• Age 5 -7 years 3:20 — 4:05pm <br />Consultant may adjust the schedule, based on the availability of rooms in the <br />City's facility. <br />Each class shall have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 20, registered and paid <br />participants. <br />If the minimum registration has not been reached by the first class, the class may <br />be cancelled by mutual agreement of Consultant and City, with no compensation <br />owed Consultant for any cancelled class session. <br />FEES <br />• Each participant shall pay a $28.00 class registration fee for four -week sessions <br />and a $42.00 fee for six -week sessions. <br />• No refunds will be made to participants after the first week of class unless the <br />class is cancelled by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency. <br />• City shall collect registration fees from each participant. Consultant shall refer <br />interested students to City for registration. <br />• Consultant shall receive seventy percent (70 %) of total fees collected for the <br />classes within fifteen (15) working days after completion of each class session. <br />City shall retain thirty percent (30 %) of the fees collected. <br />• Consultant agrees that City shall be entitled to audit Consultant's records and <br />classes to ensure compliance with this Agreement and that all participants are <br />registered. <br />• Consultant may not waive class participation/registration fees. <br />• City shall prepare class rosters and provide a copy to Consultant. Only registered <br />participants, listed on roster, may participate in class. <br />
