INSURANCE UN FILL WORK MAY PROCEED UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES CLERK OF COUNCIL DATE: 3-- 7-05 t,: ^^PW tb,Kmu4 FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered into this Y= day of n a 2004, by and between Felice Ilkagla ("Consultant') and the City o Santa Ana ("City"). Recitals: A. The parties entered into Agreement number N-2002-183 (hereinafter "said Agreement') by which Consultant has instructed parent/child participation child development classes. B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to renew said Agreement for an additional one-year period and to increase the compensation to pay for the additional services during the extended term. Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: 1. Section 2.a, COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation $10,000, to read as follows: "City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for its services, the rates and charges identified in Exhibit A. The sum to be expended under this Agreement shall not exceed $10,000.00 during the term from January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005. The total sum to be expended under this Agreement shall not exceed $20,000.00 during the term of this Agreement." 2. Section 3, TERM, shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: "This Agreement shall commence on January 15, 2003 and terminate on December 31, 2005, unless terminated earlier in accordance with Section 12, below. The term of this Agreement may be extended upon a writing executed by the Executive Director of the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency and the City Attorney." 3. Except as hereinabove modified, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
