Maintenance Procedures (Monthly) <br /> <br />a. Check server event logs. Document event items outside of normal operation. <br /> <br />b. Verity server database backups have been completed successfully. Document and <br />troubleshoot all failed backup jobs. <br /> <br />c. Test Recovery of data from tapes. The first two Friday night backup jobs from the <br />previous month will be tested to ensure the data can be recovered from them, if <br />available at the time of the visit. <br /> <br />d. Record to a spreadsheet each of the following: server hard drive space available, total <br />database size, and system memory in use. <br /> <br />e. Check patch and service pack level of server, and patch as necessary. <br /> <br />f. Check server RAID controller and verity proper operation of all disks. <br /> <br />g. Prepare monthly summary report with backup status, event log, patches applied, <br />RAID status, and any other pertinent information. <br /> <br />2. Additional Service (Software Installation and Troubleshooting) <br /> <br />a. Work beyond the scope of the Maintenance Agreement will be completed at the rate <br />of$125 per hour, with a 2 hour minimum charge. Initial contact from these requests <br />will be at maximum 48 hours from the initial request. <br /> <br />b.
