ABC LICENSE APP. Wallace Davis, 540 North <br />SHOBEIRI, TONY Golden Circle Drive, Attorney <br />1222 E. FIRST for the applicant, addressed <br />REC'D & FILED Council with regard to an <br />_ _7 ABC license application for <br />property at 1222 E. First St., and requested that the Police protest be <br />withdrawn. MOTION was made by Luxembourger, to withdraw the Police <br />protest if the applicant would agree to having no video games in the <br />establishment and limited liquor sales. Motion died for lack of a <br />second. <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by McGuigan, to receive and file <br />staff report on the following: <br /> <br />SHOBEIRI, Tony, 1222 E. First - Original Type 20 Off- <br />sale Beer & Wine. PROTEST: Police. (Agenda Item 5D) <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, McGuigan <br />None <br />Serrato CA 146 <br /> <br />ABC LICENSE APP. <br />GRE£NBERG, PAUL <br />123 N. BROADWAY <br />PROTEST REMOVED <br /> <br />Following discussion, MOTION <br />was made by Markel to receive <br />and file the staff report on the <br />ABC license application for <br />property at 123 N. Broadway. <br />Motion died for lack of a <br /> <br />second. MOTION was made by Griset, seconded by McGuigan, to receive <br />and file the staff report and remove the Police protest providing the <br />applicant agreed to the following conditions on the license: <br /> <br />1) Sixty-five percent of gross sales must be for food <br /> and non-alcoholic items; <br /> <br />2) Sales of alcoholic beverages are permitted between <br /> 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. only; and <br /> <br />3) NO video games are to be permitted on the premises. <br /> (Agenda Item SE) <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, McGuigan <br />Acosta, Markel <br />Serrato <br /> <br />CA 146 <br /> <br />ABC LICENSE APP. <br />O'CAMPO, JOE <br />403 N.
