(AGMs), I would like to express our appreciation for the opportunity to submit our Proposal for Services to the City of Santa Ana. I have reviewed the I2FP, the supporting documents and requirements, and on behalf of ACMS submit the enclosed proposal to service the City of Santa Ana. May I first formally introduce you to ACMS, "The Crossing Guard Company." ACMS is a California Corporation established in 1985 with the sole function of providing School Crossing Guard services. We have successfully privatized the Crossing Guard programs for over 100 Municipalities and School Districts. We are based in Los Angeles and employ over 1,900 School Crossing Guards throughout California whom dedicate themselves to providing a safe passage to and from school for thousands of children each day. Should we be awazded the contract to manage the Santa Ana Crossing Guard Program our goal is to provide the City of Santa Ana with a professionally managed, responsive Crossing Guard Progam. This begins by ensuring a smooth transition for all the Crossing Guards from public to private management. Our experience has taught us that people respond differently to this type of transition and our hope is to remain sensitive to their individual concerns. We bring to the Santa Ana Program the wealth of experience we have gained by our single minded purpose of managing School Crossing Guard Programs. Professional management for ACMS is a function of training, staffmg, support, communication and supervision. It is our belief that these five functions are the fundamental building blocks for a successful Crossing Guard progam. We are certainly interested and excited about the possibility of providing Crossing Guard services for the City of Santa Ana. As we currently provide Crossing Guard services in the surrounding cities of Garden Grove, Tustin, Fullerton and all of the unincorporated surrounding. County areas, we have the ability to quickly and effectively staff Santa Ana locations. As General Manager and President I am duly authorized to fully commit the resources of ACMS to the Scope of Work as outlined in RFP Spec#04-050 for the City of Santa Ana.
