<br />A-2005-048 <br /> <br />INSURANCE NOT Ui~ "ILL <br />WORK MAY NOT PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE: 3 -IIt-o~ <br /> <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO <br />CUSTODIAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />t : Cbi4 <br />LU::W~ <br /> <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CUSTODIAL MAINTENANCE <br />AGREEMENT, is entered into on March /$,2005, by and between L.A. CHA <br />Maintenance Company ("Contractor") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"). <br /> <br />Recitals: <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into an Agreement dated January 21, 2003, (hereinafter "said <br />Agreement") by which Contractor has provided custodial maintenance services for <br />the Depot at Santa Ana. <br /> <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />renew said Agreement for an additional four-month period. <br /> <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First <br />Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. In an effort to provide uninterrupted custodial maintenance services, Contractor and <br />City agree to extend the term of said Agreement for a four-month period to June 30, <br />2005. <br /> <br />2. Contractor shall continue to perform those services and accept payment as set forth in <br />said Amendment. <br /> <br />3. City agrees to pay and Contractor agrees to accept as total payment for its services, a <br />monthly fee of$7,800.00. The total sum to be expended under this First Amendment <br />to Custodial Maintenance Agreement shall not exceed $36,800.00 during this <br />extended term. <br />
