<br />Attachment (B) <br /> <br />THOMAS E. KRAUSE <br /> <br />Mr. Krause is a specialist in Instrument Flight Procedures <br />feasibility, design and development and obstacle evaluations. His <br />qualifications include over 20 years with FAA, with 17 years in <br />Flight Inspection and Flight Procedures Development including <br />the design of Instrument approach and noise abatement <br />procedures for Reno/Tahoe and Reno/Stead airports, Nevada; <br />the re-use pIan for the decommissioned E1 Toro MCAS; original <br />feasibility and subsequent development for Federal Express of a <br />Special TLS procedure to Subic Bay, Phillipines. Other experience <br />includes Noise Abatement, Instrument Approach and Departure <br />analysis and feasibility studies. He was an Air Force Pilot from <br />1970-1975, Air National Guard Pilot from 1975-1981, and FAA Air <br />Traffic Controller from 1977-1980. He was an FAA professional <br />pilot from 1980 -1997. During this period he flew more than 3000 <br />Instrument Approach and Departure procedures to assure <br />compliance with the National Airspace system and to evaluate <br />facility performance. <br /> <br />Relevant Project Experience <br /> <br />Flight Operations Chief for Flight Inspection Frankfurt, <br />Germany. Supervised pilots and Airborne Technicians; <br />directed the Flight Inspection activities for the Frankfurt <br />Flight Inspection Field Office. Provided Flight Inspection <br />coordination and briefings with the Directors of Aviation <br />of the various countries. Conducted Pilot Flight Checks to <br />assure compliance and ability. <br />Worked on the Headquarters staff at Oklahoma City, OK. <br />Conducted FAA pilot flight checks, and conducted office <br />evaluations to determine compliance with FAA <br />Headquarters policy and objectives.
