The volunteer unit is deployed for crowd management, high <br />visibility patrol, and for community relations at various events throughout <br />the City. The Mounted Unit is also deployed to events outside the City <br />upon requests for mutual aid from neighboring law enforcement agencies. <br />The Santa Ana Elks Lodge has donated a new horse trailer to the Mounted <br />Enforcement Detail. The horse trailer will be used to transport horses and <br />equipment to the various community events and special deployments. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />\, <br />J(\,~ vll <br />Paul M.
