Koo & Associates, Inc. (WKA), a division of PBS&J, is pleased to submit this fee proposal to <br />the City of Santa Ana for Bridge Rehabilitation and Bike Trail Structure Design Consultant <br />Services. Pursuant to our meeting on December 14`s the fee proposal has been revised to reflect <br />the updated scope. Presented below is a summary of the work items that have been deleted from <br />the previous fee proposal: <br />• Geotechnical report for Flower Street over Santiago Creek <br />• Geotechnical Field Investigation & Laboratory Testing (May need to be added back if the <br />existing LOTB is inadequate) <br />• Utility Coordination (To be completed by City) <br />• Topographic surveys and surveys for centerline tie at all four locations. <br />• Roadway survey on McFadden <br />• Alternatives Analysis of the Bike Trail structure type (The preferred design is the <br />cantilever structure) <br />• Hydraulic Analysis of the Santa Ana -Della Channel <br />• CEQA & NEPA documents for Flower Street Bridge Rehabilitation <br />The full text of the revised scope and fee are attached. We are confident that the enclosed fee <br />proposal reflects our clear understanding of the project issues and a solid approach to performing <br />the necessary services.
