<br />EXEMPT FROM FEES PURUSANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 6103 <br /> <br />KO - 3/15/05 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-032 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA PLACING THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1905 NORTH VALENCIA STREET ON THE HISTORICAL <br />REGISTER, HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION <br />APPLICATION NO. 2004-05, AND PLACING WITHIN AN <br />ESTABLISHED CATEGORY HISTORIC REGISTER <br />CATEGORIZATION NO. 2004-05 (APPEAL NO. 2004-07) <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />On February 5, 2004, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing, and at that hearing this matter was continued for <br />90 days to permit the property owner time to evaluate the placement on <br />the Historic Register. <br /> <br />1. On May 6, 2004 the Historic Resources Commission held the <br />continued public hearing and by a unanimous vote, approved the <br />placement of the F.B. Elliot House, located at 1905 North Valencia <br />Street, Santa Ana, on the Santa Ana Register of Historical <br />Properties and categorized the property as Key. <br /> <br />At the property owner's request, on August 5, 2004, the Historic <br />Resources Commission reconsidered the placement and <br />categorization of the property. The Historic Resources <br />Commission held the duly noticed public hearing on Historic <br />Resources Commission Application No. 2004-05 and Historic <br />Register Categorization No. 2004-05, to place the property on the <br />Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties and categorize the <br />property as Key by a vote of 6-0 (Bustamante, Lutz, Schaefer <br />absent). <br /> <br />The property owner appealed the Historic Resources Commission action <br />to the City Council (Appeal No. 2004-07). <br /> <br />On September 20, 2004 the City Council unanimously voted to continue <br />the public hearing for 60 days.
