RESOLUTION NO. 83-28 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA OVERRULING THE ACTION OF THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. <br />80-19, APPROVING SAID CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, GRANTING APPEAL <br />NO. 428, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 81-4, ADOPTED ON <br />JANUARY 5, 1981. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel <br />NOES: Acosta, McGuigan, Serrato <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Councilmember McGuigan <br />COUNCILMEMBERS requested that staff respond <br /> to S8 142 regarding signs <br /> and SB 163 regarding zoning <br />relative to day care centers. She also reminded Council about the pan- <br />cake breakfast scheduled at Memorial Park on February 26, 1983, and <br />requested Council's support of this effort. <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Luxembourger, seconded by McGu~gan, to approve the <br />Mayor's absence from the March Council meetings due to attendance at <br />the "Invest in America's Cities" Conference in Hong Kong. <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, <br /> McGuigan, Serrato <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />120 <br /> <br />Councilmember Serrato stated that he had received a call from Beverly <br />Wood regarding Neighborhood Watch signs and requested that staff respond. <br />He also stated that he had received a call from Joe Cruz, 1514 N. Bush, <br />relative to insufficent lighting in his area which is encouraging crime. <br /> <br />RECESS <br />EXEC.
