<br />Code Enforcement continues to work on businesses that have signage that <br />doesn't match their business name in Downtown. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />SPURGEON BUILDING <br /> <br />Code Enforcement completed a thorough report on the building inspections. A <br />notice of violation was issued on 1-28-05 and mailed to the property owner. The <br />property owner has 60 days to comply with a 30-day extension if requested. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />S. MAIN STREET STEAM CLEANING & BANNER COSTS <br /> <br />Staff presented cost for steam cleaning colored sidewalks from 1 st to Edinger. <br />Committee requested quarterly cleaning to be budgeted for the 05/06 fiscal year. <br /> <br />Staff presented cost for street light banners on Main Street. Committee desires <br />the Merchants Association to pay for a majority of the cost to introduce a banner <br />program on South Main Street. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />PROJECT UPDATES <br /> <br />a) SWC First and Main Streets - Oriqinal Mike's - <br /> <br />Signage is in compliance. Certificate of Occupancy (CofO) for the restaurant <br />has been issued with the CofO for the apartments close to issuance. <br /> <br />b) City Place- <br /> <br />Item going to council on February 22, 2005. <br /> <br />c) YMCA- <br /> <br />Both developers have resubmitted proposals. Urban West Strategies <br />proposal changed slightly from rental units to for sale units. Keyser Marston <br />has reviewed both proposals and recommends ABCO.
