<br />EXEMPT FROM FEES PURSUANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 6103 <br /> <br />KO - 04/11/05 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-044 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA PLACING THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 317 <br />EAST SANTA CLARA AVENUE ON THE HISTORICAL <br />REGISTER, HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION <br />APPLICATION NO. 2004-08, AND PLACING WITHIN AN <br />ESTABLISHED CATEGORY HISTORIC REGISTER <br />CATEGORIZATION NO. 2004-08 (APPEAL NO. 2005-01) <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />On February 4, 2004 the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties and categorization of Wettlin House 317 East Santa <br />Clara Avenue, Santa Ana. The Historic Resources Commission continued <br />the matter for one year. <br /> <br />1. On February 3, 2005, the Historic Resources Commission held a <br />duly noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana <br />Register of Historical Properties and categorization of Wettlin <br />House 317 East Santa Clara Avenue, Santa Ana. <br /> <br />The Historic Resources Commission approved Historic Resources <br />Commission Application No. 2004-08 and Historic Register <br />Categorization No. 2004-08, by a vote of 5:0 (Lutz, O'Callaghan <br />absent; Sarmiento abstained). <br /> <br />The property owner appealed the Historic Resources Commission action <br />to the City Council (Appeal No. 2005-01). <br /> <br />On April 18, 2005 the City Council of the City of Santa Ana held a duly <br />noticed public hearing, and at that time considered all testimony, written <br />and oral. <br /> <br />The Wettlin House, located at 317 East Santa Clara Avenue, Santa Ana, <br />was built in 1926 and is eligible for inclusion on the Register as it is a <br />representative example of a highly picturesque Tudor Revival architectural <br />style. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />75A-17 <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2005-XXX <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
