READ. & PUBLISH <br /> <br />The Vice Mayor opened the public <br />hearing on Amendment Application <br />No. 879, filed by the City of <br />Santa Ana to rezone property <br />located on the north side of <br />First Street and south side of <br /> <br />Second Street between Spurgeon and Garfield Streets and between Garfield <br />and Standard Avenue from the C3, C2 & M2 Districts to the C5 and M2-SD <br />District. <br /> <br />The Chief of Planning presented the staff report and recommendations. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported a written communication from Larry <br />Tucker, opposing Amendment Application No. 879. <br /> <br />Larry Tucker, Three Upper Newport Plaza Drive, Newport 8each, spoke <br />in opposition to the Amendment Application. <br /> <br />There were no other speakers.
