77. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing on Amendment Application No. 881 <br />filed by Civic Center Barrio Housing Association to rezone property <br />located on the southeast corner of Santa Ana Boulevard and Raitt Street <br />from the M1 (Light Industrial), Cl (Community Commercial) and R2 <br />(Multiple-Family Residential) Districts to the SD-17 (Specific Develop- <br />ment) District, or a more restrictive district. <br /> <br />The Director of Planning and Development Services presented the staff <br />report and recommendations. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported no written communications. <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta questioned staff regarding the decrease in M-1 land <br />as a result of this and other amendment applications. <br /> <br />The following persons spoke in favor of the amendment application: <br /> <br />Pete Major, 923 N. Olive <br />Martha Ray <br /> <br />There were no other speakers on the matter. The Mayor closed the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Place ordinance on first reading and authorize publication <br /> of title. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO.
