The surplus City property is <br />temporarily stored at the Corporate Yard and scheduled for auction by an <br />authorized auctioneer service. Using an auctioneer service allows the <br />City to dispose of surplus property and also generates revenue from the <br />sale of the surplus items. <br /> <br />The notice inviting proposals was advertised on February 2 and 4, 2005, and <br />proposals were solicited. A pre-proposal meeting was held on February 10, <br />2005 and terms and conditions of the Request For Proposal were discussed, A <br />summary of the proposal requests and proposals received is as follows: <br /> <br />13 Requests For Proposal mailed <br />2 Requests For Proposal mailed to Santa Ana vendors <br />2 Proposals Received <br /> <br />Proposals were received, opened on February 23, 2005, and evaluated, Each <br />proposal was evaluated independently. Criteria for evaluation included <br />eight specific items, such as: cost, experience, qualification of staff, <br />and ability to maximize revenue generated from the sale of surplus City <br />property, Proposals for auctioneer services were evaluated and the ratings <br />are as follows: <br /> <br />25F-1 <br /> <br />"" .'~.l <br />
