STANDARD AVENUE. <br /> <br />Filed by Martin Con~munications, Inc., appealing the Planning Co~mission's <br />denial of CUP 82-24 and VA 82-25, to permit one off-premise billboard, <br />feet in height, at 3231 S. Standard in the M1 District, and to waive the <br />requirement prohibiting advertising signs within 500 feet of a freeway <br />when viewed primarily from a freeway at 3231 S. Warmington Co., opposing Appeal Nos. 485 and 486. <br /> <br />Steve Shedd, 800 E. Dyer Road, spoke in favor of Appeal NOs. 485 and 486. <br /> <br />Thomas Martin, Martin Con~nications, Inc. 1888 Century Plaza, Los <br />Angeles, spoke in favor of Appeal Nos. 484, 487, 485 and 486, and <br />suggested that the industry work with the City in developing an overall <br />policy regarding billboards in the City. <br /> <br />There were no other speakers.
