Council recessed to the Housing Authority at 4:27 p.m., and reconvened at <br />4:28 p.m. <br /> <br />The City Manager reported that a ~ article which had appeared in <br />the July 5 morning edition had acknowledged the long-term service of Jack <br />Lynch, enployee at the Santa Ana Zoo. <br /> <br />MOTION: Acknowledge contributions of Jack Lynch at dinner <br /> meeting at Santa Ana Zoo on July 5, 1983. <br /> <br />MOTION: Johnson SECOND: Mc(~/igan <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Johnson, Luxembourger, <br /> McGuigan, Young <br />None <br />Bricken <br /> <br />At 4:35 p.m., the Council recessed to Executive Session and reconvened at <br />5:20 p.m., with all members present, except Councilmember Bricken. The <br />Council inmediately recessed to dinner at Prentice Park Zoo, 1700 E. First <br />Street. <br /> <br />No action was reported out of Executive Session. <br /> <br />Following dinner, at 7:45 p.m., the Director of Recreation & Parks <br />introduced the Recreation & Park staff members present. Mayor <br />Luxembourger presented a City cup to Claudia Collier, who accepted this <br />memento on behalf of Jack Lynch, Associate Curator, at the Zoo, who had <br />completed 31 years of service with the City. The Mayor expressed his <br />appreciation to the staff for its excellent hospitality.
