These classes and programs include sports <br />acti vi ties, health, fitness and education, visual and performing arts, <br />and safety procedures. To effectively market these programs to the <br />widest audience, staff recommends contracting to have a bi-annual <br />recreation program brochure printed and mailed to the community, This <br />brochure will also contain several sections in Spanish. <br /> <br />The notice inviting proposals was advertised on March 30 and April 1, <br />2005, and proposals were solicited. A summary of the proposal requests <br />and proposals received is as follows: <br /> <br />16 Requests For Proposal mailed <br />6 Requests For Proposal mailed to Santa Ana vendors <br />5 Proposals received <br /> <br />22F-1 <br /> <br />I-~ )8-) <br />
