Councilmember Bricken inquired relative to the status of the Santiago <br />Street closure, and the status of plans for Centennial Park. The City Manager responded that it <br />wouldbe installed bytheAugust 1, 1983 Council meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Johnson inquired relative to a complaint received from <br />Teresa Studinger of Santa Ana Datsun. The City Manager stated that the <br />matter was being investigated by staff. <br /> <br />By unanimous informal consent, the Council accepted Councilmember Acosta's <br />nomination of JoyceAllen to the ConmunityCable Citizens' Board. <br /> FILE 110.15 <br /> <br />Councilmember Johnson requested that the matter of upgrading the present <br />animal ordinances be placed on the Council Referral list. Councilmember <br />Johnson also requested that a meeting with municipal judges be set for <br />purposes of discussion of items of concern to Santa Ana. <br />Councilmember Johnson also requested to be supplied with an address <br />list of all local ice cream distributors, and expressed his concern that <br />the alternatives be analyzed of 1) no further action, 2) regulation, and <br />3) the constitutionality of banning ice cream trucks since the ordinance <br />would be coming back to Council on August 1, 1983. <br /> <br />Councilmember Bricken stated that he was concerned with enforcement <br />methods regarding pushcarts.
