21. ORDINANCES - SECOSD READING/IMPLEMENTATION RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />ORDINANCE - RESIDENTIAL BUILDING BI,CORDS. <br /> <br />Placed on first reading and authorized publication of title on October <br />24, 1983, by a 4-3 vote, with Acosta, Luxembourger and McGuigan <br />dissenting. <br /> <br />The Director of Planning and Development Services presented the staff <br />report and recon~nendat~ions. <br /> <br />The following persons spoke in opposition to the ordinance: <br /> <br />Mickey Madden, 2319 N. Rosewood <br />Anne Famalaro <br />Virgil Elkins, 2210 N. Poplar <br />Chris Diaz, 2122 N. Victoria <br />Phyllis Ahnert <br />Doris Small, 111 W. 17th <br />Conrad Schultz, 1811 N. Flower <br />Miles Leach, 2025 W. 10th <br />George Nevels, 1816 Greenleaf <br />Margaret Paul, 2411 N. Valencia <br />Tom McMichael, Rt 2., Box 65, Harrison, Idaho <br />Jim McGuigan, 5642 Keelson <br /> <br />The following persons spoke in favor of the ordinance: <br /> <br />Priscilla Holmberg, 618 Cypress <br />Tom Ferrier, 521 $. Birch <br />Pete Major, 923 N. Olive <br />Jan Boer, 912 N. Lowell <br /> <br />Dennis Ochol spoke regarding the ordinance. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 4:05 p.m., and reconvened at 4:25 p.m., with the <br />same members present. <br /> <br />The Interim City Manager spoke regarding the ordinance. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Continue ordinance for 60 days; form an ad hoc corauittee comprised <br />of members appointed by Council (2 from each Councilmember), <br />consisting of a cross-section of homeowners, property owners, and <br />realtors, all residents of Santa Ana, to draft proposed <br />constraints, additions, and modifications to the ordinance, and <br />report to Council in60 days, at which time a public hearing will <br />be held. <br /> <br />CRDINANCE NO. 1~-1696 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN~A AN~ ADDING CHAPTER <br />20, CONSISTING OF SECTIONS 20-1 TO 20-9, TO THE SANTA Ak% MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO REPORTS OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDING RECORDS. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 338 ~ER 7, 1983 <br /> <br /> <br />
