MOTION: Young <br /> <br />SfEOSD: Johnson <br /> <br />Acosta, Bricken, Luxembourger, <br /> Johnson, McGuigan, Young <br />Griset <br />None <br /> <br />FILE 12~ <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan requested that the Transportation Department <br />furnish Councilm~mbers with maps indicating the schedule for street <br />sweeping. <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta requested a duplicate copy of the staff report <br />of the analysis of the Anaheim street sweeping system. The Interim <br />City Manager reported that copies had bee~ forwarded to Council <br />requesting comments, but another copy will be prepared. <br /> <br />Councilmember Young inquired about scheduling the Orange County <br />Center for Performing Arts for a work study session. The Interim <br />City Manager advised this was scheduled for February 6, 1984. <br /> <br />Council requested a report on the new Transportation Center covering <br />potential problems, i.e., transients, etc., and how the City proposes <br />to handle the problems. <br /> <br />Councilmember Young requested that progress reports be given to <br />Council regarding the status of various major items, such as the <br />traffic signal at Sunflower and Main Streets. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Schedule discussion of the flea market in the Eddie West <br />Stadium for work study session tentatively on February 21, <br />1984. <br /> <br />MOTION: Young SECOSD: Johnson <br /> <br />AYES: Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Johnson, <br /> Luxembourger, McGuigan, Young <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />Councilmember Bricken asked that the request from Mater Dei Soccer <br />Booster Club for consideration of waiver of fees at the Santa Ana <br />Stadium be considered at the February 6 Council meeting during the <br />afternoon session. <br /> <br />Councilmember Bricken requested that staff meet with the School <br />Board regarding feasibility of Redevelopment including visibility <br />of the High school from First Street, and discussion of development <br />of an Education Plan under the General Plan process. <br /> <br />Councilmember Bricken requested that staff verify if the Food Bank <br />charges a $6.~0 per pound rate for the distribution of food. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MIN~'I~S 26 JANUARY 16, 1984 <br /> <br /> <br />
