<br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON <br />MAIN STREET DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />February 16, 2005 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting convened at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall, Room 831, 20 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br />City Council Committee members present: Councilmember Jose Solorio and <br />Council member Claudia Alvarez. Councilmember Lisa Bist by telephone. <br /> <br />Staff members present: City Manager, Dave Ream, Community Development Agency <br />Executive Director Patricia C. Whitaker, Planning and Building Agency Executive <br />Director Steve Harding, Planning Manager Jay Trevino, Chief Assistant City Attorney <br />Benjamin Kaufman, Senior Planner Sergio Klotz, Community Preservation Inspector <br />Alvaro Nunez, Downtown Development Manager Matthew Lamb and Redevelopment <br />Assistant, Danell Mercado. <br /> <br />Community members present: Tim Rush <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - January 19,2005 <br /> <br />Action: <br /> <br />The minutes were approved 3:0 <br /> <br />2. PROPOSED CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS <br /> <br />Maintenance complaints were given to 1315 and 1601 N. Main Street. <br /> <br />Illegal vendors were cited on South Main and Downtown for Valentine Day sales. <br /> <br />The awnings at the Otis Building are in compliance. Building owner indicated to <br />staff, if planning will approve rod iron treatment on the windows, they would like <br />the bus stop moved to its original location. <br /> <br />138-5 <br />
