The grant provides total reimbursement to local <br />agencies for equipment purchases approved and authorized by the Office <br />of Disaster Preparedness. <br /> <br />The Police Department requires two incident command vehicles that can <br />be dispatched to any emergency incidents within Santa Ana that require <br />extensive coordination of responding emergency units. The vehicles can <br />be used as command posts, and will be equipped with electronic <br />equipment such as multiple radios and a television monitor to allow for <br />enhanced communication capabilities and monitoring and evaluation of <br />large incidents. The vehicles will also carry the plans, policies and <br />procedures, and maps necessary to effectively coordinate the actions of <br />the responding emergency units. <br /> <br />22C-1 <br /> <br />CS JB3 <br />
