<br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: <br /> <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br /> <br />MAY 16, 2005 <br /> <br />TITLE: <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />o As Recommended <br />o As Amended <br />o Ordinance on 151 Reading <br />o Ordinance on 2nd Reading <br />o Implementing Resolution <br />o Set Public Hearing For <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO MASTER FUNDING <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE ORANGE <br />COUNTY TRANSPORTATION <br />AUTHORITY <br /> <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and <br />Clerk of the Council to execute Amendment No. 10 to the Master Funding <br />Agreement with the Orange County Transportation Authority for projects in <br />the Combined Transportation Funding Program and the Bicycle and <br />pedestrian Facilities Program. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />On June 5, 1995, the City Council approved a Master Funding Agreement <br />(MFA) with the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA). The <br />primary purpose of this agreement was to streamline the funding <br />allocation process for projects funded through the Combined <br />Transportation Funding Program and the Bicycle and pedestrian Facilities <br />Program. The MFA also specifies the roles and responsibilities of the <br />City and OCTA. Amendment No. 10 is required to incorporate minor <br />adjustments made to projects during the semi-annual review conducted in <br />September 2004. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> <br /> <br />ames G.
