In order to <br />facilitate repairs, an infrared camera will be used as a diagnostic tool <br />to detect overheating conditions in pumps, motors, seals, bearings, <br />wiring systems, and transformers. Overheating is the main indicator of <br />potential system problems and if detected early, critical water system <br />failures and costly repairs can be prevented. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on March 9 and 11, 2005, and <br />bids were solicited. A summary of the bid invitations and bids received <br />is as follows: <br /> <br />8 Invitations For Bid mailed <br />4 Bids received <br /> <br />Bids were received, opened on May 10, 2005, and evaluated (Exhibit 1). <br />The bid from FLIR Systems, Inc. is responsive to the specification. <br /> <br />22C-1 <br /> <br />CS 383 <br />
