<br />Iss:5/03/05 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-054 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA CONSENTING TO THE COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />DECLARING A PORTION OF WARNER AVENUE TO BE A <br />COUNTY HIGHWAY FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby, finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. That portion of Warner Avenue lying within the City limits of the City <br />of Santa Ana is designated a Major Arterial Highway on the County <br />of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways. <br /> <br />B, The County of Orange and the City of Santa Ana propose to widen <br />Warner Avenue from the Santa Ana River Channel to Harbor <br />Boulevard (hereinafter "the Project"). <br /> <br />C. The County of Orange intends to declare Warner Avenue a County <br />highway for purposes of construction of the Project. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Council resolves that pursuant to the provisions of Section <br />1700, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code, all of that portion <br />of Warner Avenue lying within the City limits of the City of Santa Ana is hereby declared <br />to be a County highway commencing upon the award of the construction contract and <br />ending upon the completion of said contract by the County of Orange. <br /> <br />Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect upon adoption by the Orange <br />County Board of Supervisors of a resolution pursuant to Section 1700 of the Streets <br />and Highways Code, and transmittal of same to the City Council pursuant to Section <br />1701.
