Clemons <br />Family Trust and Dorothy E. Tillotson. This lease is for the use of <br />office space located at 1415-1417 South Broadway Street, which is the <br />property adjacent to the Fire Department's administration facility that <br />currently houses its training staff and equipment. The current lease <br />agreement expired on April 30, 2005. <br /> <br />The owner has contacted the City and is requesting a change in the terms <br />of the previous lease agreement. Specifically the owner is requesting <br />that the City pay half the costs of the utilities at the facility. This <br />will result in an increase of approximately 10 percent which has prompted <br />the Fire Department to evaluate its options for future use of the <br />facili ty. Therefore, a month-to-month rental agreement is proposed to <br />include a rental rate of $3406.29 per month and half of the utili ties <br />(estimated at $425.00 per month) for a not to exceed monthly amount of <br />$3,900. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 15301 of the California Environmental Quality <br />Act the proposed project is exempt from further review. <br /> <br />25N-1 <br />
