At least 72 hours prior to the scheduled construction date, Grantee <br />must provide additional written notice, such as a door hanger, to residents within the proposed <br />construction area, which notice sets forth a general description ofthe construction project, the <br />anticipated dates of construction, and a telephone number for the Grantee that a resident may call <br />with any questions or concerns. <br /> <br />3. Grantee must give at least 30 days' advance notice to all property <br />owners prior to installing any new above-ground or underground structures upon easements <br />located on private property. <br /> <br />4.3. Outlets and Services for Public Buildings and Educational Facilities. <br /> <br />(a) Grantee will continue to provide, maintain, and repair cable drops for <br />those public buildings and educational facilities that have cable drops on the effective date of this <br />Agreement, as identified in Exhibit D-l. <br /> <br />(b) Cable drops to buildings and facilities referenced above in <br />subparagraph (a) will be provided by the Grantee within 30 days after notification by the Grantor <br />or by the governmental or other agency having responsibility for the operation of such building <br />or facility; provided, however, that if such building or facility is more than 150 feet from <br />Grantee's activated plant, then the Grantee will be reimbursed for its costs for labor and <br />materials to install the cable drop. <br /> <br />(c) Grantee will install, maintain, and repair, without charge, one cable drop <br />at each City-owned or City-occupied building, public library, and public primary and secondary <br />school that is located within the franchise service area. Grantor will inform Grantee ofthe <br />construction, acquisition, or lease of new public administration and service facilities so that cable <br />drops can be installed by Grantee at the time of construction or occupancy in order to minimize <br />costs. Grantee will not be required to provide free internal distribution or to bear any expense in <br />excess of a standard 150- foot service drop. One cable drop will be installed by Grantee without <br />cost to Grantor; Grantor will pay Grantee for additional drops, connections, and outlets at <br />Grantee's cost for labor and materials. <br /> <br />(d) Grantee will provide, without charge, expanded basic cable service to one <br />outlet in a non-public area at each of the buildings and facilities where a cable drop has been <br />installed by the Grantee. <br /> <br />(e) Grantee will make available, without charge to Grantor, high-speed cable <br />modem service to one non-networked computer at public primary and secondary schools, at <br />public libraries, and at park facilities where a cable drop has been installed by the Grantee and <br />where Grantor operates a computer laboratory or similar facility for the benefit of the public. <br /> <br />4.4. Emergency Alert Capability. <br /> <br />Grantee must provide Emergency Alert System ("EAS") capability in full <br />compliance with all applicable FCC requirements.
