Projects approved by City Council are identified with <br />construction signs containing the logo: "a sign of things to come". <br />Signs are used to inform the public of improvements made to the <br />community by the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />On May 20, 2002, the City Council awarded a contract to Myers & Sons <br />Hi -Way Safety, Inc. for a two-year period, with provision for two one- <br />year renewals. The vendor has performed satisfactorily during the past <br />contract period and has agreed to renew the contract without an <br />increase in pricing. Staff recommends the final renewal of the <br />contract. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />The costs of the signs will be charged to the various projects in the <br />City's Capital Improvement Program. <br /> <br />~iJA ~~ <br /> <br />( JAmes G.
