Aghjayan <br />in an amount not to exceed $35,000 for energy consulting services. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />There are a number of opportunities for energy efficiency programs <br />available through Southern California Edison. To take advantage of the <br />available programs, staff is proposing to hire Edward K. Aghjayan, a <br />consultant with experience in managing multiple energy programs to assist <br />in evaluating the various energy program options, their applicability to <br />the City and the benefits of each program. <br /> <br />Preliminary discussions with Edison indicate a willingness on Edison's <br />part to participate in a joint review of the available programs and to <br />develop a partnership agreement as a strategic direction for the future. <br />The services of Mr. Aghj ayan will also be utilized to develop such an <br />agreement. Staff anticipates that an agreement will be submitted to the <br />City Council later in the year for review and approval. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />25F-1 <br /> <br />
